Happy Birthdayversary
Thursday was our 11th anniversary and my birthday. (I won't disclose my age.) Jess bought me a dozen roses in a beautiful pinkish-mauve color. I love roses, as long as they're not red.

This weekend has been quiet. There's a lot of housework to do as we get ready for a guest who arrives Thursday, and we leave Friday morning for a wedding in New England. Vacuuming, cleaning, dusting, even a little touch-up painting were all on the menu today. We ran a few errands, and watched a really pathetic movie.
I had an opportunity to shoot a couple of dog pictures; the dogs were in a mood today.
Here's Mandy:

And here's Dodger. Can't you tell he's just soooooo happy?

Awww. Congratulations and happy birthday! We're coming up on 11 years too.
Pretty roses!
How many people do you know who clean furiously, so a friend can dogsit in as immaculate a house as possible? Like the dogs won't be here re-furring the place! ;)
Oh, and the movie was pathetic, but that Mark Hildreth is yummy!
One last note: Happy Anniversary/Birthday, hon! I love you!
Happy, happy!!!
Um, just so everyone knows: our dog-sitting visitor is also the friend who helped us design the house. He's a compulsive cleaner, and we don't need to give him a reason to work while we're gone. And the house isn't exactly sparkling right now. So, my love, happy anniversary, and :P
Happy belated bithday and Anniversary!
you're dogs are so beautiful! as are those roses. i agree, i don't like red roses either. they're...well...kind of tacky in a way, no?
